I took this photo a couple of days ago to show my wonderful view out my sewing room window. Even though we live in a very crowded area of Virginia I am so lucky to have a wonderful view of trees and Mountin Laurel bushes in the back yard. When I am sewing it is nice to see nature. I am able to see our birdfeeder with many different birds visiting us everyday. We usually have quite a few Cardinals, some Blue Jays, Woodpeckers, Sparrows, Bluebirds and a large Falcon. One of our male Cardinals will tap on one of our windows when the birdfeeder is close to empty. It is so funny. When we moved into our house we did not have the bird feeder up and there was always a Cardinal tapping on the window. We were so intrigued by this behavior. Now that he has food our Cardinal is very happy. We hope our other bird friends are just as happy.
